Craft Name: Saradin
Craft Background:

This life started in June, 1957. I'm a Gemini to the nth
degree. I have been with Oly through many lives. We've been together in this life since 1991.

I've been a pagan before and came to HT knowing what was expected of me from the group. I fly my broom as a single. I've raised 3 kids and now have 9 grandchildren: 4 by blood and 5 by marriage.

I live life as a pagan and as my religion. For me, it is a very personal relationship with the world and the divine. I no longer work. My health dues not let me any more. I have now become a Web addict, spending most of my time on Web space. I no longer answer my phone. I have it so that I can be on the Web.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

I help Oly hide the ethereal bodies of those who annoy us. My specialties are Dark Moon magick and Rites of Passage through the Gateway to Reunions.

Craft Name:  Alekto
Craft Background:

I have been interested in Witchcraft since I was a child. Went through various religions, but none of them seemed right - there was always something lacking.  As an adult I continued reading about Witchcraft,  but was somewhat atheistic with a touch of pantheism.  I finally decided that what I really was a pagan/witch, and that God was female.  Always wanted to belong to a coven, but couldn't find one.  When the opportunity arose to join one while I was living in Oregon, I chickened out.  Was afraid to come out of the broom closet more or less.

Time passed.  I went from maiden to mother to crone. Then, about 14 months ago I was surfing the net, and I happened upon Witchvox.  As I went through the site I discovered that there was actually a coven here in Roswell, the city of a gazillion churches.

Looked a little further, and came upon some pictures, one of which was the High Priestess of Hekate's Torch, the local coven.  My mouth dropped open, because I was pretty sure that she was someone I knew.  I emailed her,and the rest is history.

I am now a First Point Initiate and full member.  I am also Treasurer of HT and serve on other coven boards.  Whoever it was that said "it's never too late" certainly knew what they were talking about!!!!!

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

I am a stickler for details in rituals (I think that translates as a pain in the neck). I am trying to
learn a little Greek to assist with ritual components.  I am also a bead artist/crafter and make
jewelry and other odds and ends.

Craft nameTisiphone
Craft Background:

I was raised a Christian and did not originally set out to become anything else. I did set out to disprove the existence of Goddess. As I researched ancient papyrus collections (and other ancient texts) I discovered that it was I that could be wrong.

I was curious about Hekate’s Torch for years, but too shy to participate.  I then began to search spiritually and found Her.  Hekate made Her presence known in my life when I left my first offering at Her crossroads.  Since then, my life has become so much more balanced and I am learning to accept the feminine side of myself that I had not thought important for so long.  I am a serving Priestess of Hekate.

Knowledge and Skills:
The gifts I attempt to bring to my coven are those of healing herbs, incense, oils, and candle making.  I also offer my skills in research.

  Craft Name: Medea
Craft Background:

I was raised Pentecostal in rural Kentucky and Tennessee.  My grandfather was at one time a Pentecostal minister.  I think I was always looking for some kind of spiritual connection in my life even at a young age yet something about the church never felt quite 'right' for me.  I was pretty much raised by my great grandmother and my grandmother (they were in-laws, not mother and daughter).  Both of them had psychic abilities and practiced what they called folk medicine.  I know today it was just plain old witchcraft.

I was exposed to the Witch’s path when I was eighteen and kept getting drawn back to it.  I self dedicated in 1998 (when I was 35) and practiced as a Solitaire. The only interaction I had with other pagans was through circle dances in NashvilleTN and from the internet.  I searched for others to circle with in DenverCO and other places but found them too 'fluffy'.

I traveled with my job to a lot of different places and ended up (not by my own design) in RoswellNM in 2003.  There I met Oly, Enoch and the rest of the folks associated with the Temple of Hekate’s Torch.  I also embraced Hekate who I now know was calling to me all along.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

My life has been greatly enriched since then and I have learned what it truly means to walk in faith. I now live in AlbuquerqueNM (not by my own design either but for reasons She has I am sure).  I am a Priestess of Hekate and a member of the Temple of Hekate’s Sickle.  I am single (and plan on staying that way).  I have two grown children and three beautiful grandchildren who, shall we say, keep life interesting.  I study and read Tarot.  I also study the Magicakal Arts and Sorcery.   I believe my function at the moment is to learn all I can learn and to be open to what comes my way.  And always ready to stir the cauldron…gracefully.

Craft Name: Aero
Magical Background:

Dedicated to the Temple of Hekate’s Torch in 2007.  In generally a spiritual person, I have always been a person of faith, even though I knew there was something more than the faiths of my parents, I always strive to learn about my ancestors and what they believed. I am dedicated to the Strix, and I do follow the Greek pantheon, but I also follow my ancestral deities, which is the Norse pantheon namely Odin, Freya, and Thor

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

I am learning about the different paths, and I’m very intrigued by the differing paths of different faiths. I’m skilled in many things thanks to my family, but mainly physical labor, but I love making things for people. The only real ability that comes to mind is that I can make people smile and be happy, even in the toughest of times.

  Craft Name: Bella Pelegrina

Craft Background

My background in the Craft began when my cousin decided to become a Witch, and I had to save her from going to hell. Imagine what my Pentecostal-born-and-raised-holy-roller self thought when I could find nothing to prove how wrong she was. I only found how blinded I had become.

I happened upon the Temple of Hekate's Torch standing in line for the first Harry Potter movie right behind the High Priest and High Priestess. We began talking and I knew in an instant that I had found my home.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

My love for and abilities in various forms of divination. I serve on several committees, and am in the process of getting together a youth group of sorts.

  Craft Name: Megaira
Craft Background:

I was reared as a member of the Church of Christ, but never felt like I belonged. Started researching other religions and found a connection with Paganism. I started studying as a solitary eclectic in 2001 and joined a Grove in Lubbock in 2006. I met Oly and Enoch in 2006 as well. Discovered I felt a stronger pull towards Hekate and became a Dedicant to Hekate’s Torch in 2007.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

I am an empath, budding herbalist, healer, and a counselor to those who have need of it. The Gods have blessed me with the ability to draw those in need and know what they need to hear to resolve their situations. I have what I fondly refer to as a BS meter, i.e. I almost always know when someone is trying to lie to me. I am a decently skilled seamstress and doll maker. I excel at blessings and protections. I am learning how to garden.

These are the special people the Temple accepts and reveres as true Priests/Priestesses of the traditions and people of faith. They are family to us, and we to them. Together we comprise the REAL Pagan Community. We are honored to have them in our lives.

  Craft Name: Solinn
Craft Background:

I have had magical abilities all of my life. (Being able to realize or control them however is a different story.)After finally realizing that Christianity was not for me (thank you clue X 4), Ibecamepagan and have continued being so for 5 years, as well as, specifically studying Druidry and traditional Norse religion for the past 2.5 years.Hekate’s Torch was shown to me by way of my druid mother introducing me to Oly and it has been an amazing experience for me to be with these wonderful people in this group.I am honoured to be considered familia by the members of Hekate’s Torch, and enjoy seeing this part of my adopted family as often as possible.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Right now I am in sponge mode.  I am learning not only about my own ways, but also the ways of my brethren in Hekate’s Torch.  I can make jewelry, understand and utilize basic herbal remedies as well as herbal magic, to a fair degree, I understand astrology, and other forms of divination.  I am also skilled at different forms of trance magic.  My services in research as up for utilization as well as the cornucopia of random factoids I have absorbed through out my life.

Craft Name: Brenna Mar
My actual "Druid" name is hard to pronounce even for me.
Therefore, call me Brenna Mar which is "Raven maid of the Sea" in Irish.

Craft Background:

Raised a hereditary Druid.  At 9 passed first test for thoseseeking to be Druid (test of Trust), second at 16 (test of magic) and third at 25 (test of the Gods).  I turned down an offer to join an Alexandrian coven in 1973 because as I told them "I am pledged to the way of Oak and Ash.  I may serve no other." They wanted me to take an oath that would conflict with those I had already given.  At the death of my great-grandmother in 1981, I became "Keeper of the Nine Seals" which guards the ancient objects of power.  (This happened in spite of my marriage to  someone not "of the blood" i.e. not Druid. I have studied Celtic and Norse lore, magic and herbs for longer than I care to remember.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Mastered several forms of divination including Ogham, Runes, Tarot, Scrying, and some more obscure, like bird flight, which I leave out for space considerations.  Blessed/cursed with second sight and astral projection/remote viewing.   Magic abilities include:  song spells (Druid and Norse), trance magic including Seidr, Spae, Galdr (singing runes), herbal potions, plant, stone and other forms of Earth magic, bindrunes and other forms of Runic and Ogham magic, warrior magic, weather magic and many different types of energy healing including tonal.  I have given lectures on herbal medicine, Celtic/Druid lore and various workshops including potions.  I write rituals in either Druid or Norse traditions (I don't mix them!).

In my mundane life I have a MS in Analytical Chemistry.  I have been married to a pagan, David, for over 25 years.  I have a cat Widdershins aka Widget.

Craft Name: Amergin
Name: Ryan Coe
Craft Background:

Raised in various aspect of the craft since 14 years of age.  Mother was of an interesting path of the "Craft".  Formally a student of the"Craft" for 16 years in the tradition of Shamanic Wicca or Shamanic pagan aspects.

Knowledge, Skills and overall greatness

I have some learning of Lakota traditions as well as some learning of Celtic Shamanic traditions.  I prefer to look into the male mysteries and have been called a redneck pagan at times due to my love for the hunt and all that outdoor stuff.  (no, I can't stand Budweiser)  There have been numerous other curious tracks that I have learned from and will continue to learn in a meandering method as the whim strikes me.  I come from the Albuquerque region and am part of the Central New Mexico community.  Currently, I love to sing the tradition as well as tell children stories that explain to our young some of the lessons of the Craft.   Therefore, my skills are bardic, male mysteries and being the great and fantastic father that I am.

  Craft Name:  Camulus
Craft Background:

I come from a staunch Christian background.  Most of my life I was bounced between being a Baptist or Church of Christ.  I realized at a young age that my family has “gifts” of various types.  My family acknowledges them but is very adamant that we not talk about and or use these abilities.  I have been told I am a cynic but I like to think of it as being a realist.  I don’t believe that humanity has a greater good and that most people don’t really deserve to be here and or procreate.

I broke away from my family and Christianity when I saw the grace “a good Christian” could provide to people that came to them for help.  Two of my good friends had their lives ruined and were literally ran out of town by the church (because one came out about being gay, and the other got pregnant out of wedlock).

I’ve studied martial arts since the age of 12 and used martial arts meditation to help release and embrace my abilities.  For the longest time I was a solitary witch practicing Wicca but realized that it was not quiet the right fit for me.  I eventually was introduced to a grove ran by Brenna Mar and everything just felt right.  I now study and practice druidism as an apprentice of Brenna.

Through my grove I had the fortune to be introduced to the Temple of Hekate.  A natural kinship has been brewing over the last year and I have been embraced as familia.  I could think of no greater honor then to have Brenna, my grove, and the men and women of the Torch as my adopted family.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

My greatest gift is an open mind, my greatest skills are self defense and being a good politician, and my knowledge is limited but I am working on that with Brenna and Oly
